I am a creative and resilient camera operator based in the East Midlands.
I have always enjoyed creating things and started my career as a photographer. I then took this passion for image making and expanded into video. I have been lucky enough to work for a number of high ranking clients which has taken me across the UK filming in a range of exciting environments. I have worked on Live sports, music and corporate events, documentary/ News and educational content.
After being diagnosed with autism at 30 I am also interested in breaking through the stereotypes associated with my condition and proving that it can be a strength in a positive work environment.

Camera operator on a returning indonesian documentary following the progress of young footballers from Italy, Indonesia and Africa. Tasks included filming training, matches and following players on their time off.

Assisting self shooting producer with all camera related duties, operating 2nd camera and setting up and operating gopro cameras. My role also involved micing up contributors using lapels and boom mics and setting up different styles of lighting.

BT SPORTS/ EMG/ SUNSET AND VINE/ UNIVERSAL LIVE/ CREATIVE TECHNOLOGY
Working with a large crew on Rugby games broadcast on ITV, BT Sports and other platforms I was tasked with pole camera and corner camera duties on a number of occasions. When doing pole camera I worked with an RF crew to ensure things ran smoothly whilst also assisting with other camera duties such as mini camera setups.

Working on my own initiative I have gathered footage for a range of national and international news companies such as CNN, ITN and BBC. I have filmed at vaccine centres, protest events and a variety of other topics. This work required planning, being tactful and producing my own risk assessments.

Working alongside the producer and sound operator I assisted with set up of cameras, lighting and set design for a sit down interview with a main contributor. I also operated a second camera during the interview.
